When we launched our first drop, we were genuinely overwhelmed by the support. seeing aesene ship to countries all over the world was surreal, and we’re incredibly grateful.

But we also learned something challenging.

Just a month before launch, the United States introduced new import tariffs. This meant many of our U.S. customers were unexpectedly charged significant fees at delivery — in some cases up to 60%. We worked behind the scenes to support everyone affected, and because we had already heavily subsidised shipping, we ultimately made a loss on all U.S. orders.

More importantly, we never want anyone in our community to feel like they’re paying more than they should for Aesene. That led us to a difficult decision.

For this next collection, we will not be shipping orders to the United States.

This isn’t a decision we wanted to make, but with the current tariff structure, we cannot ask our U.S. customers to take on those unexpected fees.
